About this report
This Rapid Agriculture Assessment is published by the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries of Timor-Leste with the important contributions from CARE International, Oxfam, Caritas Australia, World Vision, Plan International, the Timor-Leste Red Cross, Catholic Relief Services, the United Nations Development Programme and the United Nations World Food Programme.
The report examines the ongoing/prolonged impact of the 2015-2016 El Niño Southern Oscillation (ENSO) on drought-affected communities with a focus on agricultural livelihoods, and is intended as a tool to inform emergency response programmes supporting vulnerable livelihoods in selected sucos of the most affected municipalities of Oecusse, Covalima, Bobonaro, Viqueque, Baucau, and Lautem.
